The information provided in these online guides is general guidance only. Your prescribed dosage may differ based on your individual medical assessment.
Your dosage must be confirmed during a Nurse Dosage Consult.
Repeat prescriptions will not be issued without attendance to a minimum of one Dosage Consult.
Starting dosage (week 1)
When: Take them any time of the day, ideally with food to reduce the chance of nausea
Volume: 1 capsule
How often: Once a day
How many times per week: Every day (7x per week)
Standard dosage (from week 2)
When: Take them any time of the day, ideally with food to reduce the chance of nausea
Volume: Up to 2 capsules
How often: Daily. Take both capsules together, or one at a time during the day
How many times per week: Every day (7x per week)
How to take your capsules
- Swallow each capsule whole with water.
- Do not open, crush or chew the capsules.
- Take them any time of the day, with or without food.
Missed a dose? Take it when you remember that same day. If you only remember the next day, skip the missed dose and take your usual dose.
Never take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
Expiry
- Your capsules have a maximum expiry of approximately 6 months.
- Use by the expiry date printed on your bottle.
- The expiry date stays the same once the bottle is opened, and delaying opening does not extend it.
Don'ts
- Do not take more than 2 capsules a day.
- Do not exceed the Recommended Starting Dosage unless specifically advised by our medical team.
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
- Do not open, crush or chew the capsules.
- Do not share your medication with anyone.
- Do not continue taking the capsules if you experience persistent or concerning side effects. Contact our medical team promptly to discuss.
- Do not use the medication past the expiry date.
Contraindications
Make sure to check that none of these apply to you when starting this medication
- You are allergic or have had significant past reactions to BPC157, alpha lipoic acid, lysine, zinc or any ingredient in the capsules
- You currently have cancer or neoplasic disease
- You currently have a brain injury, tumour or abscesses
- You are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding
Your doctor has reviewed your health and medicines. Let us know if anything changes, such as starting a new medicine or supplement, becoming pregnant, or planning surgery.
Side effects
Common side effects
- Digestive discomfort (at higher doses)
- Mild headache (beginning of course)
- Nausea or a metallic taste (more likely on an empty stomach)
Uncommon Side Effects
- Low blood sugar (feeling shaky, sweaty or light-headed), particularly if you have diabetes
- Sleep disturbances
- Allergic reactions to BPC157 Bounce Capsules can be severe and life-threatening. Contact us immediately if you notice a rash, hives, itching, swelling or welts. Do not wait to see if symptoms resolve.
Theoretical but Unverified Risks
- Neoplasia risk: theoretically could promote growth of pre-existing tumours

Storage & Consumables
Storing your medication
- Store as directed on your medication label.
- Some capsules need to be refrigerated, so please check your label to be certain.
- Keep in a dry place with the lid tightly closed.
- Keep out of direct sunlight.
